So About that Legacy... / Sunny and Drew - Couple Photoshoot and Download! / Breezy Bungalow - Pics and Download!

Well, the idea for the legacy died. Not that there ever really was an "idea", just a smidgit of one. The idea went as follows:

Sunny is a girl who has never said a word in her life. She's shy and feels invisible, and she left home the day she turned 18 so she could fade into the background of the world. Then, Drew comes along and he sees her as a beautiful girl with a voice louder than anyone else's, and it's love at first sight.

What happens after that, you ask? I don't know. That is the problem; that is why the idea died. Somehow I would have to get from Point A (Sunny and Drew meet) to Point B (Sunny finally speaks and tells Drew she loves him) without a roadmap, which all my fellow writers out there know never works.

There will be a story eventually, I can promise you that. I'll have to wait for some inspiration - maybe I'll take longer showers, since all my idea come to me in the bathroom. (I don't know why!) For now, I'll just keep doing what I do best and make some sims! Sunny and Drew are now available for download, as well as the meh-ish house I created for Sunny. Photo time!

First, some couple photos of Sunny and Drew! Aren't they just adorable? <3

Ohhh, they're just so cute together... I played them for a couple days and did a quickie romance plot just because they're such an adorable couple. ;) Their song for the Musicacy half was "Let Love In" by The Goo Goo Dolls, if anyone's curious, and the emotion was shyness (in case you hadn't figured that out already).

Sunny can be downloaded here.
Drew can be downloaded here.
They can be downloaded together here.

And now for some pics of my first house upload!

The house can be downloaded here.

I'm pretty happy with the way the house turned out. I'm not a pro builder or anything, so for me this is pretty good! :P Plus, it's just a starter, so I didn't want to be anything too fancy about it. I do wish I'd made it more colorful, though. Maybe it's so grey because I've been brought up in very colorless houses... For my next building project, I'll step out of my comfort zone and try to make everything super colorful! :D

Enough about Sims! I want to say a few things about the recent happenings in my life... There's been a lot of excitement recently. First of all, my birthday's coming up this Saturday, and I'm looking forward to going to see the Avengers with a few close friends! Secondly, SUMMER! I have only 3 more days of school left until freedom! Five more exams, three end-of-the-year parties, and then summer bliss. :) And the last thing that has been lingering in the back of my mind every second of every day... Last Friday, we had our formal, and wow was that night ever amazing! /beginloverant For ten months, I've had a crush on my best guy friend, and on Friday he surprised me by asking me to slow dance! The best part? My favorite song, Drops of Jupiter, was what we danced to. <3 The romantic details of that moment are to be kept between me and my crush, so I'll leave it at it was amazing and life changing. The rest of the night was a jumble of sugar highs, photo booth madness, conga lines, and running around pointlessly. Ahhh, good times... :) That night made my life.

So if I start creating a lot of couples... You know why. ;)

That's all for today! God, this post took me a couple days to write... One to take photos and upload the stuff, the other to write out all this stuff. :P Totally worth it, though. I got some good stuff on here. Keep checking back guys, and please follow!

Insane Rain / Work in Progress Photos of Sunny's House!

I just came back from an orchestra concert, and all I can say is wow. It was raining so hard that my mom, brother, and I had to wait inside while we sent my dad to go get our car and drive it up to the curb. It was hailing, with thunder and lightning every few seconds and flash flooding in the streets! It was insane! When my dad pulled up, my mom and brother took the umbrella and ran, so of course I got to run through an ankle-high river of rainwater in my nice dress and shoes, carrying a several hundred dollar viola. Thankfully my viola wasn't damaged since it was in its case, and the dress will recover from the heavy soaking. But wow, talk about a thunderstorm! Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. This was awesome. I love the rain! Besides, Texas was in need of a good storm. Anyways, I'm warming myself up in my bedroom with a cup of hot chocolate and I'm watching Modern Family on Hulu. I think this is the best part about getting caught in heavy rain - you get to pretend you're freezing and then eat yummy food and sit around under a blanket.

Yesterday I started building Sunny's house, which I will be using as the main setting of the story, although there will be some scenes around town.

I'm using Union Cove by Carl's Sims 3 Forum, by the way. It's a gorgeous, really well-made world that can be found here.

I've barely finished anything so far, therefore what you're about to see will seem quite disappointing for the time being. (The den is the only thing that I have completely finished so far. I know, I build at a snail's pace.) However, once I furnish it more and work on the landscaping, it will look much better. I'm not a master builder or anything, but I'm trying my best! :P

Thanks for reading! Things are almost ready for me to start writing the story! God, I'm so excited! By the way, the house will be up for download on the release day of the prologue. I intend to keep it CC-free so everyone (with the required EPs and SPs) will feel comfortable downloading it. So... Keep checking back for when I set an official release date!
