This will be my last update for awhile, as I'm leaving for a road trip to California on Saturday! I'm very excited, but I'm sorry to have to leave you guys. I'll be gone for a week or two, and I'm sorry but there will be a great delay on the next chapter of Fruit Parfait. I was hoping to get it out this week, but as it turned out I had appointments one after the other that my mom forgot to mention to me. Sorry about that, everyone. Anywho, please enjoy this little photoshoot with my simself and my fictional perfect husband. :P
I think they make a good couple. :3 Heehee...
I named my simself Sarah Morria, since my parents came very close to naming me Sarah but then eventually decided to name me Erin since it's less common. I didn't use my real name, since I would get all superstitious if a meteor hit my simself or something. :P Morria is my go-to last name for simselves, and I've used it on the other two I created. Sadly, though, I don't have pics of either of them for comparison. This one is most definitely the closest to what I look like in real life, though, and I promised myself to not glorify my face since I wanted it to look realistic. Then I decided to go mega-realistic and recreate clothes in my wardrobe for my simself... Haha. Anyways, her traits are Virtuoso, Artistic, Hopeless Romantic, Ambitious, and Perfectionist, her LTW is Professional Author, her favorites are Pop, Stir-Fry, and Purple (although I really wish they would make a general Rock category for music, since I listen to much more of that kind of music), and she's a Gemini.
Every night, I dream about this fictional guy with wavy blond hair and blue-green eyes. He pops up in every single dream. (Last night I had a dream that I was on a plane that crash-landed in Antarctica. Guess who was on the plane with me?) So, I decided to create him as a sim, since apparently he's the guy of my dreams. I named him Justin, since I love Justin James Hughes (a Youtuber). Ha, you thought I was going to say Justin Bieber, weren't you? :P No. Just...no. Then I decided to give him the last name of Hemsworth and make him an imaginary brother of Liam and Chris Hemsworth (even though he looks nothing like either of his "brothers", and I never tried to make him look like them). The story is he ran away to Hidden Springs, where no one knew who he was, since he didn't want to go into acting like his siblings. His traits are Brave, Good Sense of Humor, Adventurous, Disciplined, and Charismatic, his LTW is Martial Arts Master, his favorites are Pop, Key Lime Pie, and Red, and he's an Aquarius.
So I will undoubtedly be posting updates on these two simmies, from their days of being "roommates" to their definite marriage and children. Those will come much later, though, because I need to put out a new chapter of Fruit Parfait after I get back from vacation, and Fabio needs to get a move on with his baby-making. For now, though, I have to say goodbye. I'll be back soon, but until then, enjoy your summer!

So I Threw Veronica a Bachelorette Party...
...and I took pictures. Lots of them. Believe it or not, this is the first time I have ever thrown a bachelorette/bachelor party for any of my sims. As I said in my last Vero & Hikaru update, my sims don't get engaged/married very often. Luckily, Veronica and Hikaru have proved to be a very interesting couple and I'm definitely sticking with them. Plus I tested out their genetics in CAS, and their children were terribly adorable. Without further ado, here begins a short-story-type-thing recounting the events of the night.
The balloons were out, the confetti machine was running, and the red lights were on when Veronica's friends Madeline Meinke and Ashlynn Murphy (two townies she met around Dragon Falls) arrived. It was time to get the party started.
Along with Ashlynn came a fairly attractive, ridiculously buff dancer who was checking Veronica out.
Veronica didn't really mind getting checked out by a shirtless guy, though.
She had to admit, she was a fan of his moves. She got a little too enthusiastic.
When Ashlynn walked over, Veronica felt a sudden urge to...
...spray her with champagne! Or "nectar", as EA likes to call it.
Ashlynn wasn't too upset about getting sprayed in the face.
Veronica had a drink at the portable bar she rented for the night.
"Better slow down there, Vero," Madeline said.
She was perfectly fine, though. She only had two.
The dancer was starting to look like hookup material, though...
Snap out of it, Veronica, and keep drinking until you clear your head. (Ha, like that's going to help.)
Then the dancer started checking out Ashlynn, and Veronica got over him pretty quickly. She didn't like players.
But players appeared to like Ashlynn.
"Kiss him? Are you kidding me? No way!" Ashlynn whispered.
"Awww, come on, Ash! Do it for me!"
"I... Fine."
Success.
Veronica watched them like a creeper from a distance.
"Whaaaat? If I can't kiss him, I might as well stare at my friend doing it and live vicariously."
Vero ate some of her home-cooked sushi to try and sober up.
But then Madeline started drinking...
Veronica was slightly worried about her friend...
She didn't look drunk enough!
"Awww, no, there's a hole in my hat!"
Ashlynn started drinking as well - probably trying to forget about kissing the half-naked dancer.
"Hahaha... HEADBUTT!"
"Okay, Veronica..."
"Everybody, stop what you're doing! I have to make a toast...to my friend Veronica!"
"I wrote you a poem just now."
"Awesomesauce!"
"And it goes like this... Vero, Vero, you're like Jack Sparrow. You're crazy and awesome and cool like a pharaoh. I know this is not the best poem in the world, and we all know your hair is not naturally curled, but on this day I want you to know - married or not, girl you go!"
"And now..."
"No, no, Madeline, this is my nice dress!"
"Ahaha wooo!"
"Heheheh. The world is spinning."
It only took a few more drinks before Ashlynn and Madeline were passed out on the floor.
Veronica, however, could still manage to drag herself over to the couch and think up a smooth pickup line. (The dancer was looking hot again.)
"Hey you... I like yer faceeeeee."
"This girl's weird."
"Arg."
The dancer left and Veronica passed out on the couch soon after. When she woke up, Madeline and Ashlynn were gone, the house was trashed, and she had a massive headache.
Luckily, her soon-to-be hubby was there to make everything better. <3

Best. Party. Ever. :D And that last pic just makes me smile every time I see it... Strategic placing of the couch, window, and sparkles machine made it turn out just right. <3
Coming soon is the next chapter of Fruit Parfait, as well as a photoshoot with my newly created (and highly realistic) simself and her future boyfriend (currently a "roommate"). I've been really busy lately with various shopping trips (and not the fun kind), a camping trip, and house renovations going on all week, so I haven't gotten much simming time in lately. Luckily, I have free time right now so I can work on getting Zane's world caught up to the right day! So long for now, and happy simming. :)

My Experience with SimCity Social / Buh-Bye Lag!
Okay, so today I want to talk about two things, the first of which being my first impression of SimCity Social and then the magical (and ridiculously simple) thing that completely fixed the lag in my game.
So I've never played SimCity before, but I always give the Sims games on Facebook and mobile phones a try just for the heck of it. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this game, given how horribly simple Sims Social was, but I was actually surprised. The whole dependence upon energy thing bothers me a little, but it's a cute little game. I might keep playing it... I'll probably get hooked on it for a month and then completely abandon it, like my experience with FarmVille. I do like watching this little cartoony town grow, though... Anyways, the Facebook adaptation of the game has given me motivation to buy the new SimCity game, as I think if I enjoy the simplified version of the game to some extent, then I will love the real deal. There was certainly quite a gap between my love for Sims Social and Sims 3. :/ The only thing that's really, truly bothering me about SimCity Social right now is that I can't figure out how to send a freaking hot air balloon. It's driving me insane! I've scoured the net in search of something to point me in the right direction, but I still can't figure it out! And for that reason (as well as the very exciting elimination of all lag in my game), I have Sims 3 running instead at the moment.
I can't believe I didn't think of this before. I feel like a total peabrain for not realizing that I had accumulated over five thousand items in my laptop's recycle bin! You see, I have this nagging feeling every time I chuck something in there that I will need it again in the future, which is what has kept me from emptying that thing out since the day I first got my laptop over a year and a half ago. Today I finally got up the courage to just wipe the thing out, and holy chiz. I started up my game and there was no freaking lag. I just sat there in awe with my mouth hanging open as my sim chopped her veggies for her salad without once freezing. Heck, I could even turn my graphics back up to High like they used to be at. That, too, made such a great difference in my enjoyment of playing, as I once again had top-notch graphics. The sunset was so beautiful, I took a picture just to share with you guys:
This is a little after sunset, but whatever... Beautiful plants! Reflections! Detail! Ahhhh! :D
All this time... It was the evil recycling bin. I kept taking content out of my game, hoping that would fix my problem, but the actual problem was not with the amount of stuff in my game but the amount of stuff lying unused in my computer. And now that it's gone and my game is running beautifully, I am in a very good mood. :D And I am off... To enjoy Sims. :)

An Update on What the Puff's Been Up To
So I've had a few random photos of Fabio lying around in my Screenshots folder for quite some time (it's been nearing a month that these have been sitting unused), so I figured I might as well compile them into a short...compilation of random things.
For a Prettacy founder, Fabio's life has been particularly uneventful thus far, as I have not been satisfied with any of the single ladies in Riverview and refuse to take the easy way out by breaking up a married couple or creating the perfect baby momma.
Fabio decided to buy an ice cream cone from the stalker ice cream truck, so as to satisfy it and send it away.
Later that day he stopped by the town hall to pick up an award the city half-heartedly awarded to him.
It's quite clear why they were hesitant to praise him for his ghost busting skills, as the guy pulls this face every time I send him to ghost bust. (I'm so glad I made him a coward!)
He learned how to aim the spirit catcher thingy-ma-bob.
I love watching the house owners freak out. XD That position does not look comfortable. (Plus spirit caught on-camera? Proof that ghosts exist.)
Cooking mac and cheese in his underwear and bunny slippers.
Oh yeah, and his house got an upgrade. Now he has a roof over his head! (And can shower away from the eyes of horrified mailwomen...)
High-end living, guys.
And the spirit collection of beloved (deceased) Harry Potter characters! From the bottom up, we have Dumbledore, Hedwig, Severus, Dobby, and Cedric. Oh, Cedric. I loved you so much before you became a sparkling vampire.
So yeah. I don't really know what this was, it was just something kind of random. My Sims activities have been declining lately, most likely due to the fact that the lagging is getting pretty dang annoying. It's not enough that I can't stand it when I'm playing, but it's often what turns me away from starting up my game. I still haven't rooted out the cause, and it seems the more content I delete and the lower I turn down my settings, the more it lags. It makes no sense. I'm seriously considering moving everything over to my dad's desktop, but my brother is on it playing Minecraft/Toontown 24/7 and I don't know how I'd get in time to play and write my stories. Arg, his butt is glued to the chair in there! I'll figure something out. I can survive for the time being.
